Wow, great question. Both sports are a blast. Here is my two cents worth. Bow fishing is cheaper, but the seasons are seriously limited. You can get a nice setup, a re curve with a spool and line for about 150 bucks and have a, nice rig. The arrows are not that expensive because if you learn to do it right it wont take many. But you need a boat and a buddy to do real good. Fly fishing is my passion so of course im going to favor it. You can use it all year round and have a great time. The only low point is that it can get expensive. My rod and reel rig run about 1200 bucks but you can do way cheaper and find great quality. Just look into Cablelas for both sports and they will have great setups. Just make sure you can get enough time to make it worth it fobow fishingng, i personally enjoy a nice spear. Hope this helped and good luck!
bowfishing because carp are everywhere all year long and shoot a nice 25-30lb carp and ull have a blast
Here you would get a lot more fishing with fly fishing.
Bowfishing is limited, very limited.
Here in upstate NY we fly fish for trout, bass, pike, musky, pan fish and I have a friend who site fishes for bowfin and gar as well with the fly rod.
SO, FLY FISHING
